During the riots that errupted after the funeral a house was being shot at severely with tear gas and eventually caught fire. Funeral of 19-year-old Ni'lin resident Mohamad Khawaja who was shot in the head with live ammunition during a protest in solidarity with the people of Gaza on December 28th. He was taken to hospital and declared braindead, he died on December 31st. During the same protest Arafat Khawaja was shot in the back, he died on the spot.
