A Palestinian farmer with his sheep crosses the agricultural gate, in the West Bank village of Jayyus, March 21, 2012. These gates, found throughout the occupied territory, form part of the Separation Wall separating the villagers from their land, Going through these gates is the only way the villagers can access their land. The gates are monitored by Israeli soldiers and open for one hour in the early morning and one hour in the late afternoon. Only Palestinians with permits are allowed to pass through.
